Registration is Open!
(New name, new date, same great event!)
Last year over 450 of you spent Mother’s Day running, walking, and playing with us in the sunshine at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay.
Thank you to all of you who made the event beautiful: to all of our generous sponsors and donors, to all of our enthusiastic runners and and walkers, all the Lil’ Tykes who jubilantly ran a Dash, and the fabulous volunteers and San Diego Rescue Mission staff who were joyously on board to help every step of the way. Together, we donated over $4000 to the San Diego Rescue Mission, and because of the May Match from a group of the Rescue Mission’s generous donors, our donation was tripled to $12000.
If you didn’t see the our email from last year, you can revisit photos of the event here: http://www.charlievphotography.com/Events/SDMDRun2016.
The proceeds from any high-resolution images you purchase with our printmarks will be donated to the Rescue Mission, while the proceeds from any high resolution images you purchase without the logo will go straight to our wonderful photographer who donated his time to the event, Charlie Vergara.
This year, the San Diego Mother’s Bay Run will still be the same great event for the same great organization, but being on a Saturday will open up involvement for more of the San Diego Rescue Mission‘s supporters who cannot come on a Sunday and allow more runners and sponsors to participate without worrying about conflicting Mother’s Day plans! (Read more about the change.)
The run will be on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at De Anza Cove:
3000 N Mission Bay Dr, San Diego, CA 92109

…meet basic needs, then go further. They help [their] clients address the challenges behind their homelessness for positive, lasting change.
They provide an opportunity for those in need to take control of their lives, find a new level of stability, and return to their communities as fulfilled, contributing members of society.
You can visit www.sdrescue.org to learn more, including watching a video about their Children’s Center, a wonderful new pre-school which allows mothers an opportunity to pursue schooling and job training while their children learn what they need to start school.
Sharing is Caring!
Our success depends on your enthusiasm and support! Talk to your workplaces, yoga studios, gyms, chiropractor’s offices, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. about sponsoring our event!
Looking forward to seeing you on the Bay as we show others who are not as fortunate that, together, we can all make a difference!
Feel free to reply with any questions.
Again, thanks for sharing your time, talent, and treasure!
